Tanzania Adopt LifeSaver

Following on from our four brave mums who climbed Kilimanjaro to raise money for a donation of LifeSaver AD syringes to Tanzania, SafePoint is proud to announce that this donation took place on Friday 3rd of June 2011.

Marc made the donation of almost 400,000 LifeSaver AD Syringes in person, to the Honourable Dr Lucy Nkya (Deputy Minister for Health and Social Welfare). Dr Nkya pledged her commitment to our LifeSaver campaign by announcing that Tanzania is to become the first LifeSaver Country. Positive Action Towards Safe Injections for Pakistan


The Sindh Assembly passed a bill on Wednesday 12th January 2011 aiming to regulate and control the manufacturing, selling and use of re-used syringes. Penalties of at lease two years imprisonment have been suggested - click on these links for the full story:
